To think before you are alive. What? I don’t know. Did John Lennon pen it? Here, there, everywhere? Either way, that’s how Raul feels. In a complex reality, but at the moment he doesn’t need his attractor. Happiness to be… To be happy… Lets go.

Glass: Mcilhenney shaker pint glass
Price: $6
From: Mcilhenney Brewing Company in Alpine, Calif.
Purchased: Nov. 11, 2021
Consumed: Nov. 11, 2021
Misc.: On nitro
Went out Alpine for a few flights and this beauty. No description except it was on nitro.
Poured a pitch black color with double-digit fingers of rocky khaki head when I got it initially until it thinned out, settling on three fingers. Calm, serene setting underneath with no bubbles. Perfect foamy lacing. Perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 5.00)
Smelled toffee, caramel, dark chocolate syrup, coffee, dark fruit, toasty-to-roasty malts and bitter dark chocolate. (Smell - 4.25)
Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose but still solid. In order got toffee, caramel, dark fruit, dark chocolate syrup, coffee, toasty-to-roasty malts, bitter dark chocolate and semi-char wood. That 10.5 pct. ABV was well hidden. (Taste - 4.00)
Full body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, roasty, smooth finish. (Feel - 5.00)
This was an excellent RIS. Glad I stayed to review it. (Overall - 4.25)
