On tap at the brewery. Pours a golden copper color with a half finger of head that dissipates nicely. The nose has a strong burnt caramel aroma, but not at all unappealing. Taste follows the aroma, with a nice contrasting bitterness.
Overall, a good drinking beer.

Pours a copper color with golden edges and a half finger of head. The nose has potent notes of burnt caramel. The caramel also comes out distinctly in the flavor profile. The finish has a nice contrasting bitterness.
This offering is a fine balance between hearty and drinkable. Pushing up the abv to 5.9% for this batch was a superb choice by the brewmaster.
