On tap at the Pizza Plant on Main, great to see more of Flossmoor Station stuff here in the Buffalo area.Poured a slight hazed copper/brown with a very thin wispy head, subtle aromas I picked up some earth, bitter chocolate with a hint orange peel like that of cracked coriander spice, the beer grew on me as I drank more, real eathy tones with a slight phenolic cloviness but its not overbearing a orange-like fruitiness is nice with the earthy tones of the beer.A pretty good brew quite quaffing with alot of subtle complexities going on.

Thanks to Jeffkrenner for this growler.
A: Pours a murky copper amber on the dark side. Lots of little streams of bubbles conjure out of the sides of the glass and make their way to the top. Greeting them at the surface is an average mahagony golden head.
S: Fruity, almost perfumy. Very spicy; coriander, dandelions and nutmeg. Some dry, woody notes as well.
T: Begins very fruity and sweet. Some serious "juicy fruit" flavors all up in this. Moves to a floral character...not hoppy floral but flower and grass floral. Finishes dry and slightly bitter. Slight cloying overseasoning.
M: Medium body, good carb...touch hard.
D: Not bad. Beer went down easy

(Served in an American pint glass)
A- This beer has a reddish-brown clear body with a light off-white head. There is a gentle carbonation.
S- There is a smooth faint spice note with a slight sweetness in the finish that is note real perfume and not really candy but somewhere in the middle.
T- The slight sweet lightly toasted malt has a faint candy sweetness to it with a hint of perfume. The finish is a nice spicy light hop note.
M- This beer has a medium light mouthfeel.
D- This beer has good smooth interesting flavors with a nice spicy finish although it doesn't have a lot of the qualities of a farmhouse ale.
