On tap at Craft and Carry on 2nd Ave. in Manhattan (a spot that deserves to be more popular, btw). Deliciously dark-bready but not overly roasty. Maybe just a smidge too thin-bodied.

From a 16 oz can purchased at DeCicco’s, Brewster, NY and dated 8/21/2025.
Dark brown in the glass. Low carbonation, almost no head. Classic roasty, malty, toffee nose. Roasted malt, and coffee taste up front , with a just slightly bitter chocolate finish. Appropriately light bodied. This mild brown ale is true to style and a delight to quaff. I’ll have another, please.

16oz can from HalfTime. Dark brown pour, fluffy cream colored head. Mild roasty aroma with light sweet notes. Taste is roasty, burnt toast, woody, nutty. Finishes slightly dry and traces of the bitterness remain on the palate.

On tap at Delaware Supply in Albany, NY.
This one pours a golden dark brown color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like toasted malt, light chooclate, breadiness, and a touch of grassy bitterness.
This is a really well put together dark mild, and a great way to get introduced to this new brewery. It's light and creamy, with a very pleasant toasty and nutty malt character, and just the slightest hint of hop character.
This is light bodied, but definitely not thin, with a great drinkability.
I'm always on the side of hoping that more breweries make dark milds. This is a good one.
