Can purchased and drank at Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a dark-ish brown, almost black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells lightly chocolatey, with some herbal hop character, and roasted malt.
This is a really solid and just straightforwardly well done dark lager. It’s lightly sweet, chocolatey mainly, with a nice herbal and spicy bitterness, and some pleasant roastiness. No one flavor dominates here, and everything is well balanced.
This is creamy, but light bodied, and super drinkable.
There’s a lot to like here, and I hope I can have it again some day.

Pours clear, dark reddish copper into a Pretentious Glass Company tulip glass. Two and a half inches of tight foam slowly diminishes and holds at one inch for the duration. Thick patches of interconnected lace decorate the glass above.
Toasted malt is rich against sweet fresh baked bread. Caramel is also notable with a curious touch of Tootsie Roll.
The flavor has a ton of malt dominated by caramel, molasses, and black coffee. Hazelnut is secondary but still prominent. The finish is modest and of medium duration. Light bitterness is matched in equal proportion by sweetness. Warmth brings out caraway.
The alcohol is light, as expected, with soft, pillowy carbonation. It has a full body and the texture of Jersey cotton.
This is another easy drinking after work beer that would be suitable for casual conversation. I imagine it will pair well with bratwurst or possibly even kielbasa.

Good try at a czech lager. Some hops. Very dry finish. Crusher. Worth a try.
