This is good. Sort of a cacao nib aroma. Flavor leans heavy to the vanilla. Coffee is pretty mild. Almonds are almost always imperceptible to me, unless it’s an amped amount or an almond cookie like Mortalis Leto. $35/500ml is about going rate on these BA specialties. The double mashing is a wee bit pronounced early on, but does get much fuller and earthier as it aerates. Digging it more as it opens. Very strong, pleasant lingering stout malt notes.

2024 collaboration with Fidens. More like a beer liquor than a beer. Tastes great immediately. No one needs to notes of you. At 14.3% it restructures the world for the better very quickly. Most highly recommended (if you’re not driving, or already home, or capable of forestalling time order of decision making).
