Hunk - Coconut

We start off with an American imperial stout base, which is layered with several different roasted and caramel malts, along with flaked oats which bring a velvety smooth and moderately thick body. After fermentation with a clean American ale strain, we conditioned this stout on copious amounts of toasted and raw coconut. Aromas of fresh coconut lead the way with supporting notes of cacao and cinnamon. The flavor follows suit, reminiscent of dark chocolate covered macaroons washed down with a shot of espresso.
