This beer is described as an ESB with smoked cherry wood. I had a 32ozgrowler of it, and enjoyed it very much.
In a pint glass the beer was a dark amber color with a thin tan head.
Fruity caramel aroma. Smoky.
The smoke in the aroma translated into a very pleasant peaty taste. There was some caramel and some sweet light fuit.
A medium-bodied, very drinkable beer. The peat made for a really great aftertaste.
