Poured from can into a wide mouth shaped glass: color is amber and transparent, head is very light tan, head presents 1/2 inch thick and then dissipates to solid top and slowly dissipates.
Smell is subdued, with some agitation i get light caramel and a touch of sourness.
Taste is light caramel, some toast, sour character that might stem from the munich/melanoiden (?) in combination with the Lutra yeast (?). First brew that I've had fermented with Lutra and when I think Kviek I think sour but a quick read informs me it should produce pseudo-lager clean fermentation.
Mouthfeel is lower carbonation, moderate/strong sweetness and light sourness, low bitterness but a lingering sour/crisp bite.
Overall - not what I was expecting out of this beer - this is a sweet and slightly sour amber lager (at least from the can).
