Lief, the loved one- Old world Belgian yeast and dry hopped with our favourite new world hops! Galaxy, Ekuanot and Mosacic round out flavours to create notes of candy apple, complex stone fruit and peppercorn with a refreshing dry finish. That’s a bingo!

Fantastic farmhouse ale! Beautiful foamy head with a complex colour and slightly cloudy appearance. Excellent initial bite with a crisp finish. To me, a near perfect take on a classic style with just the right mix of flavour hops and very slight banana notes at the end.

Tasting notes from the brewer: " Old world Belgian yeast and dry-hopped with our favourite new world hops. Galaxy, Ekuanot and Mosaic round out flavours to create notes of candy apple, complex stone fruit and peppercorn with a refreshing dry finish."
Can fresh from the brewery - pours hazed pale gold with a 3 finger bone white frothy cap that lasts and laces the glass sides...aromas of peach-pear, some pine notes over a sturdy biscuit malt, some musty funk from the yeast...sharp dry sprizty character without being too bitter, well rounded and attenuated...flavor is fruity with resinous astringance to balance...peppery dry finish with increasing bittering...clean, dry and satisfying...with elements of a dry pear cider...little sweetness detected...good rendition of a domestic saison
