Tallboy from the brewery; dated Sep 10 2022 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a foggy golden-amber colour, crowned with nearly an inch of soapy, sudsy white head that recedes to a creamy collar and cap within five minutes or so. An even coat of beautiful, sticky lace is left in its wake, with lots more deposition as you sip away - it's a fine-looking wheat ale, no doubt there. Wheaty, bready, and maybe a little doughy on the nose, with subtle hints of citrus peel.
Wheat bread and grain husk flavours at the forefront, with citrus notes dropping in by mid-sip: the lemon is most noticeable to me, but I'm also getting hints of orange peel. Lots of wheat/graininess lasting into the finish alongside a light earthiness; suggestions of citrus zest and grain husk linger into the aftertaste, which fades quickly. Light-medium in body - the carbonation is fairly low, resulting in a relatively watery mouthfeel, but it's still a refreshing beer with very good drinkability.
Final Grade: 3.59, a B grade. Endless Summer Citrus Wheat is a serviceable American wheat ale, nothing more, nothing less. The trio of citrus ingredients do serve as a welcome accent, as its wheat/malt flavours are mostly one-dimensional, and the hops are scarce at best. It might work better on a hot patio in the summer, but I still enjoyed it on a cool October evening - definitely not Black Gold's most memorable beer, but I'd say it's worth trying if you have a fondness for wheat ales.

Pours a nice gold colour with a thick n gooey head that started to come out of the can before I even poured it. The smell and taste are typical pale wheat ale but added to it is some lemon citrus flavour making this quite an enjoyable beer
