Tasted at the brewery restaurant in January 2022. This was a decent doppelbock, but was not appropriately clear and was lacking in the expected delicious malty, bready aromas. The flavors and round, warming alcohol presence were pretty good. Overall, an average or slightly better doppelbock from a US brewer.
