We named this porter after those lessons that make us search for the "Deeper Purpose". This Porter is crafted with a variety of malts along with flaked oats to give a rich and creamy finish that balance well with the subtle bitterness. It's smooth drinking with a full-bodied chocolate, caramel, and roasty flavor. This beer will make you start to question the origins of every beer you drink. The why behind the how...keep searching! Tasted on tap at the brewery restaurant in January 2022. This was a delicious porter with an emphasis on creaminess and chocolate-like malt flavors. I’m guessing they were going for an English variant, not American. The aromas were a bit muted, but the flavors were wonderful for the style.
