wow....we had dinner at the brew pub and our very knowledgeable waitor informed us that they had just tapped this and not even he had gotten to try it yet....so of course we had to go for it....it was a nice deep dark brown with not a lot of head but definitely could tell from the first look it was going to be thick mouth feel....the nose was hoppy and you could smell that scotchy malt-licious scent of whisky...this is super smooth and silky on the tongue...not alot of bite though...it had a good strong smell of whisky but it wasn't too overpowering on the taste it melded with light undertones of mocha espresso....very nice and smooth...i'm hoping they keep this one on the rotation..i would like to try it in a few batches and see what developes....
