Brew pours to a deep black color with a nice tan head that broke down quickly to nice lacing through out the brew. The aroma from this brew is of sweet and with roasted malt, a very pleasant smell though maybe to sweet? The taste is of roasted malt, coffee and maybe a hint of chocolate that finishes with a bit of a hop. Over all not a bad brew but do feel that it is a little to watery, needs to be heavier and more robust!

a good' ole stout....pours pretty black and has a nice full creamy head...not too much of an aroma but a slight sweet hop nose....this is a lot more laid back than the oatmeal stout....malty with hints of nut and coffee....i would have liked a bit more bite...but smooth and drinkable for sure.

An outstanding Irish-style stout. Dry with full-bodied taste. Rich looking body and head. Lovely on it's own and wonderful when paired with the Trojan Pale Ale for a black & tan.
