The body is dark brown, nearing mahogany, but clearer and lighter at the bottom. The creamily dense tan head settles to a persistent blanket and curled ring leaving lasting sheets all around the glass.
This brown ale is giving me classic Pete's Wicked vibes, while not quite so bitter, thanks in part to its soft, medium-full fluffy body. Mildly nutty, toasty and pine woody all at once, accents of cacao crop up before finishing semi-dry.
