Barley, oats and a bit of caramel malt provide the canvas for a blend of freshly harvested or “wet” Vista and Triple Pearl from Auburn Acres. Melon and tropical fruit lead with hints of citrus and a subtle peppery finish.

From the 16 oz can via the brewery in a snifter. This excellent pale pours
a hazed orange marmalade with a very nice head of white foam that settles
to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some excellent lacing. Nose of
musk melon, honeydew, light pine touched hops, honey sweet malt, and light breaded
malts. Flavors hit the mark with breaded malts, honeydew, light mango, pine, lemon,
and sweet honey malts. Mouth feel is medium, light carbonation, smooth, and
finishing lightly bitter and balanced.
Overall, a stellar pale from a great brewery!
Of note, I did not try this at the brewery, this is my first time, but after having the ones
I tried on tap I could not find anything that was not more than solid and this one proves it!
Cheers

16 ounce can, canned on 10/02/24, thanks again to Brutaltruth for this can! Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a somewhat hazy dark gold color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both pretty good. I like the aroma, the brew smells like tropical fruit, honeydew melon, pear, pine and some bready malt. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some orange, floral and lemon peel flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's creamy and smooth with a good amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall brew, need to visit there the next time I'm in the area!
