I had this beer on-tap in a tulip glass at the brewery in Enumclaw.
Appearance: rich dark brown hue with a thin layer of tan foam atop.
Smell: nicely caramelly with a little bit of toastiness to the malt. Not too bad, though could maybe be ... richer or something.
Taste: caramel malt with hints of chocolate and a nice kind of roasty astringency at the end. Quite good.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a nicely dry and drinkable schwarzbier; it's a good accompaniment to a meal.
