Slightly hazy amber color with a modest white head.
The aroma is fresh bread, a touch of caramel with some light floral notes.
The taste is slightly sweet fresh bread, caramel, pear, slight citrus with some hints of floral hops in the finish.
The body is medium, moderate carbonation, fairly smooth and drinkable.
Altogether, this is pretty decent brew, tasty and refreshing, extra points for managing this gluten free for those who care.

Absolutely not good at all. After the nose and look, the taste and feel ruined this. Way too much clove in the taste and feel was rather flat. This should be retired.

Brewed in the gluten free style but made for averyone, Neff Brewing sets their sites on the Belgian Pale Ale.

Poring a copper rust hue and mildly hazy, Ignition Switch quickly builds a frothy cap before falling away. As the aromas of caramel, toast and biscuit precede a light scent of fruit and spice. Sweeter on the tongue, a light candied flavor of brown sugar, cola and caramel carry and malty and sweeter flavors on the initial palate.

As the flavors carry over to the middle palate, the beer opens up to the fruitiness of cherry, red apple, pear and orange peel before the balance of white peppery, vinous spice and light hops offer a counterpart to the fruit. As the sweetness slowly fades, the late taste trends cola-like with stale toast and a slight peppery dryness.

Medium bodied, somewhat thin and watery, the character of watered down cola seems to plague the session as the ale never really dries out to the degree that Belgian ale should. Its lack of carbonation allows the sweetness to lumber the tastebuds and highlight the lacking nature of this gluten-free recipe.
