Slightly hazy medium gold color with a modest white head.
The aroma is light biscuits with a bit of citrus.
The taste is again lightly sweet biscuits, a touch of honey and tangerine. The finish dries out a bit with some herbal hops and citrus zest, minimal bitterness.
The body is light/ medium, decent carbonation level, fairly smooth and very drinkable.
Altogether, this is a decently tasty and refreshing blonde ale, well worth a try, especially if gluten is an issue for you.

Made to exclude gluten but not exclude any beer lover, Neff Brewing sets their sites sky high with their American Blonde Ale.
Apollo Blonde pours lightly hazy with a standard golden hue. As its frothy cap builds and pops, the hoppy scent of citrus, pepper and herb leads into a honey-sweet taste of light caramel and cracker.
As the sweetness fades, the hops step in with impressions of grapefruit and orang peel with a peppery green bite to offset the lingering sweetness for a taste that sides slightly with the hops as the taste comes to a close.
Medium-light in body and with virtually no aftertaste, the beer finishes clean and light. Bordering on thin and watery textures, there's just not enough malt complexity to carry this gluten free beer through the entire session. Maybe lacking for the bolder beer lovers, but its good to see that the gluten-free community has some decent options.
