a cucumber kolsch thats pretty decent, certainly the best of the three beers i had in here from a technical and quality standpoint, its light, cleaner on the ferment than the others, bubbly, and without too much over the top cucumber flavor, its natural too, kind of waxy and green like the peel in the nose, more fleshy and refreshing in the flavor, sort of a hotel lobby water vibe to it, good mineral profile on the base beer, the yeast is close to right, and while its not overly german to me, it does have a little european character to it, so its close. the base beer frankly is quite minimal, and might not really scratch the kolsch itch super well without the cucumber, so i am thankful for the addition here. the dosing is right, it makes this summery, and never gets into that perfume range like some of them do. i think they did a nice job with this, and it lets me leave here with some hope for the future for their beer, as the others i drank left quite a lot to be desired. good cucumber flavor here.
