Pint pour at the source. Official description, taken from Untapped:
"Cinnamon Toast Crunch coffee stout. A stout conditioned on a Roast House “Viva la Noche” coffee beans, vanilla, cinnamon sticks, and a silly amount of Cinnamon Toast Crunch!" GBW recently did several beers based on breakfast cereals. There's also a hazy IPA currently on that was brewed with Fruity Pebbles.
Very dark brown, virtually black, with a decent sized tan head that receded fairly quickly.
Smells like it sounds. Quite sugary and cinnamon forward. Coffee definitely takes a back seat in the aroma department.
Taste is primarily of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, like in the aroma, but with a bit of coffee flavor on the back end.
A little lighter bodied than one might expect for a stout, but not to a deal-breaking extent.
Hitting this in the early afternoon. Probably would go well as a follow up to a late sweet breakfast down the street at Ferguson's. Not bad for what it is, but it's a mite sweet for me to want to session.
