Inspired by classic pub-style Brown Ales - Chocolate Malts, Munich Malts, Flaked Oats . . . MMM yummy.

Handsome clear amber-brown brew with long-lasting foam in the Bacchus tumbler. Aromatic with roasted grain and resins. A surprising dose of bitter coffee in the aftertaste. Overall this is a more rambunctious Brown Ale than usual, but quite sippable and full of flavor. I'd have to say it's more like a Brown IPA is anyone wanted to split hairs. But it's more warm and rich with malt than any IPA. Mouthfeel is surprisingly watery, but in a refreshing way. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bine & Vine. No date.
