pretty unremarkable beer here, not that its bad, it isnt, just that it doesnt have a whole lot going on to be excited about or make it stand out. its true to style sure, but there is nothing in the ferment, the hops, or the overall quality that makes this memorable. its very light in body, minimal on the grain profile, and has the requisite hop bitterness without really bringing anything unique in flavor or intensity, its just average in every way. the carbonation is there and the finish is dry, which is key for the style, but it also is just a little funny in the ferment, off from perfectly clean, and without more flavor overall, it kind of sits on my tongue longer than it should. a fine lager overall though, if you are looking for something cold, yellow, light, and bubbly with a little bit of flavor, its simple, its decently well crafted, and its probably a good match with their pizza in here. maybe the least exciting of all the beers i had when i was in though, just not enough happening to hold my attention...
