On-tap at The Old Angel Inn. This is another one brewed specifically for the Inn.
Appearance: crystal clear and golden with a pillowy white head.
Smell: None...I'm giving it all I've got and I can't pick up a dang thing. I've been smelling some wines and other beers today so I know my sniffer is in good shape. This just isn't cuttin' it.
Taste: apple cider, pears, and green apples come to mind. Just hints of those. Nothing in the realm of strong or even moderate. Just hints of those fruits in this beer.
Mouthfeel: Light and crispy. The carbonation makes it interesting but when I'm focused on the carbonation alone, you know this beer is in trouble.
Drinkability: Easy to drink but who would want to?
I know, I'm a rude American that only likes "extreme" beers. I guess I figured the reason I became a BA is because I was interested in beers that had character and flavor. This one just doesn't make the cut.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
