Thanks, Chris!
Whoa, this was unexpected. For a first commercial release, this is genuinely breathtaking. There's lots of fruit, a little more than you'd find in an Uprifht beer, but a lot less than in a de Garde beer, if that helps. Rich apricot, a blend of flesh and a little skin, a mild pit vanillin note. Again, the base saison is a little sweeter than most, but seems to be so by intent, with the goal of tempering the oak and gin. Gorgeous rich apricots through and through. Drying, mildly funky finish with lovely apricot notes. Gorgeous.
