The cap fell of without any effort, not portending well, but I kept my reservations at bay, even as it poured a headless pale amber.
And indeed on the palate, this brew was entirely still, but at the same time, the spicy bite that overlaid its slight farmhouse funk kept it lively. Over time I also detected a hint of apricot in the base.
A unique brew, the heat lingers for a while without scorching the palate, yet recedes without struggle. The body isn't as fluidly light as you might expect, either.
