FHD is barrel-aged saison on white donut peaches from Mt. View Orchards. We racked the beer directly off of peaches onto 10# per bbl of fresh Strata from Crosby Hops for 72 hours.

L: opaque orange, off-white head with retention and ok lacing.
S: grapefruit, peach, trees.
T: peach dominant, grapefruit, resin, funk.
F: juicy, full-bodied, sour, somewhat dry bitter finish.
O: tasty saison. donut peach still dominates like base donut beer. hops just add a bit of citrus bite. more acidic than I anticipated. ideally want to drink fresh but will probably age pretty well as hops fade.
