Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a hazy, medium golden amber with a two finger white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus hops, orange, light pine and apple juice. Flavor is pale and biscuit malt, orange, grapefruit, mild pine and vague mixed fruit. Moderate bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. Poured hazy and has subdued bitterness like a New England hazy style, although a bit more robust. The malt tastes old fashioned with a bit of English style biscuit. It is juicy, as advertised, but the herbal hop flavors are not that intense. Just enough bitterness to pass for my taste and the orange juiciness is novel, if a bit too laid back. A bit too tame for me.
