16 ounce can, 1612 stamped on the bottom of the can so I have no idea when this was canned. Thanks to my buddy Denis for getting this for me about a month or so ago on a recent trip to Iowa. Served in a Teku, the beer pours a somewhat clear dark gold color with about an inch and a half off-white head that stayed around a little while. Decent amount of lacing. Aroma seems subtle to me, the brew smells like candied pineapple, sweet malt and some caramel. Taste is simlar to the aroma, but with the addition of some bready malt and a slight medicinal flavor. Pineapple flavor seems artificial to me, and not in a good way. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit syrupy with moderate carbonation. This isn't bad by any means but it's pretty meh overall.

Clear yellow, no head no carb release
smells of dried pineapple
Taste starts with pineapple but then does some gyrating and ends with floral almost soapy notes but can appreciate the transition
A bit heavy feel and could benefit from some carb release.
Refreshing but room for improvement
