Barfüßer Hausbrauerei - Reutlingen "Weiße"

Look: Cloudy deep golden body beneath a full head of dense bright white foam. The head holds well, and then once into it a solid surface covering is maintained. Mountains of lace rise above.
Smell: Typical Bavarian hefeweizen aroma with a sweet wheat, a phenolic plastic note, banana, and clove.
Taste: As the aroma suggests it will be with some additional sweet apple. Low level bitterness. It lingers with banana and sweet malt fading. Very nicely balanced. Highly drinkable.
Feel: Medium bodied and crisp with an elevated, fine-bubbled carbonation.
Overall: A really well-done Bavarian hefeweizen.
