Half liter vom fass at the brewery in Reutlingen. This is their winter seasonal, naturally. I listed it as a Maibock because that’s the most reasonable classification of this beer. It isn’t described in their menu as anything specific. But the look, smell, flavor, and feel all scream Maibock as it’s definitely a starkbier with a notable alcohol presence. Likely closer to a Heller Bock. IBUs are low but the hops in the finish balance it nicely. Just a good ole malty, sweet, boozy German lager for the cold months.
