Our flagship IPA is a modern take on the West Coast style. Bright, piney, and fruity with a subtle touch of bitterness to make it refreshing.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. No date on the can, but I picked this up about a week ago at the brewery.
Appearance: medium orange hue with a light haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam.
Smell: sweet malt with orange, grapefruit, and lemon zest aromas. It’s getting pretty close to smelling a bit like floor wax or something, but hey, this is a West Coast IPA and a bit extra citrus never hurt anyone.
Taste: there’s a little toastiness and biscuitiness to the malt, and like the aroma a decent sweetness. Candied citrus peel is the name of the game here, but it’s definitely got a bitter bite too. It’s … different, but not bad. I actually kinda like it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: like Potlatch’s Lilliwaup Lager, this is a bit of an idiosyncratic take on a well-known style. I don’t know that I’d make it my go-to, but having this one is quite nice.
