a simple but very clean and drinkable american wheat beer here, tidy on the ferment, light on body, and crisp to drink, objectively well made, i was impressed with the quality of the beers i had in this little place that you would never find unless you were looking for it. golden in the glass with a short white head, some carbonation rising up but not overly active. the nose is straight forward, pale wheat malt, earthy dry cereal character to it, maybe the slightest honey sort of sweetness and crackery pils type malt aspect, but its wheat first, some minerals evident, not a whole lot happening either in the yeast or the hops, but sometimes simple is nice, especially in a beer like this, and the grain seems real fresh to me. the flavor is minimal too but in a good way, its just pale wheat, its wet and its bready to me, but its dry and fast at the same time, malt forward without being malty in the traditional sense, and it presents itself like a streamlined blonde ale as much as it does a conventional wheat beer. super light grassy hops on the swallow, good refreshment value here, and a beer that might be enhanced by a food context, i kept thinking something spicy like wings or thai food, its a little uneventful on its own, but the quality is there. glad i stopped in here for a couple!
