Not a lot in the way of head, the body was a lighter colored cloudy brown that shows ample carbonation. A strong vanilla note with cloves, cinnamon, clove allspice and demerara sugar which come out more as it warms. Certainly smells the part. Caramel malt with cinnamon to start that turns to the vanilla notes as the spice amps up with a bit of burnt sugar and with a bit of pine and orange citrus at the end. The aftertaste really focuses on the spice notes, as it have a velvety smooth carbonation. On the lighter side of medium body, does not even give the slightest hint of it's 7.3% ABV and while a bit sweet, it is certainly enjoyable. Certainly something if you are a fan of spiced rum that you should try.
