First, I explain the English IPA styling. I selected this to make my point that EIPAs also are changing; albeit more traditional than AIPAs. While we know how common the El Dorado hop is among AIPAs, using fewer hops still is not a trend among AIPAs. So I found the middle ground in the EIPA. Call me a nonconformist.
Second, this is my first from Bierboi, a micro from the Catalan province where Barcelona is. I am glad to find a local brewery here who feeds this awarded culinary culture. While Bierboi's website does not have an English translation button, I read Spanish very slowly and surmise they are over five years old and having fun brewing. They practice green, organic, bio brewing. So, I give them good Overall Hugs. They have a variety of brews, but most volume is in the IPA market. They venture into the Belgian tradition with several styles. I'd like to try one of those next. Buen Suerte !
Third, El Dorado is an average IPA. It Looks OK, Smells average, Tastes balanced and is refreshing but not much.
