A: Pours a dark brown with some ruby highlights around the edges. A dense beige head forms with good retention and light lace left behind.
S: Baked brown bread and toasted malts in the nose. Very simple, but enjoyable for what it is.
T: Like the nose, the bread and toasted malts are up front. There is a lingering sweetness that becomes cloying for me. Nice enough otherwise.
M/O: A light body with moderate carbonation. This becomes fairly watery. Though still not bad to drink. I can have a few if in the mood.
I'm far from knowledgeable on the Altbier style, as most of what I have has come from American breweries. This seems a decent enough, malty take though. A little too sweet, and too thin for my liking, but otherwise a nice offering.

Purchased a four pack from the brewery. Poured from a can into a tulip glass.
Clear dark brown color with nice initial white head and lacing. Bready, graham cracker smell and taste. Nice malty taste and feel. Earthy bitter finish. Overall a pretty good beer.
