Headspace is a 6.8% Modern West Coast IPA brewed with Pilsner malt and Nectaron hops, then fermented with a classic American ale yeast. A meditation on Nectaron, we chose to brew a beer with a very lean body to let the multiple additions of the hop be fully expressed. We hopped this beer in the kettle, whirlpool, during fermentation, and after fermentation solely with Nectaron in order to explore it’s flavor and aroma capability.
