To The Rind is a contemporary West Coast double IPA brewed with a carefully selected blend of hops that maximize orange zest and citrus aroma. This 9.7% ABV behemoth was brewed with Pilsner malt and malted wheat, hopped in the kettle with Zumo and Amarillo, then dry-hopped with more Zumo, Bergamot, and Eclipse. The beer was fermented to a dry finish with a classic American ale yeast. To The Rind is deceptive in both its smoothness and aroma, feeling more like a pale ale with orange zest than a massive double IPA.
