To me, this is a pretty good light, golden/blonde ale and probably the best of the Indian Wells beers. It is apparently only available at the Furnace Creek Ranch in Death Valley.
Pale amber, it has a small off-white head steadily shrinking to a thin ring.
Aroma is light grassy-lemony hop, toasty light fruity grain. A simple, light, but pleasant blonde ale aroma, with enough malty and hoppy character to be reasoanbly full-bodied.
Taste is similar, a light but full fruity-toasty grain, lightly caramelly, plus light zesty lemony-grassy hop bitterness. It is very enjoyable, easy to drink, and good with the food.

A beer contract brewed for the Furance Creek Saloon in Furnace Creek, Death Valley, CA. Consumed 12/29/10.
A: Pours a nice honey color, w/ fine lacing.
S: Fresh clean citrus, with a strong note of honey. It's an interesting juxtaposition.
T: VERY strong honey notes, followed with a clean citrus finish. The flavor is good, but not very complex.
M: Very fizzy. The carbonation distracted from the taste.
D: Very light and airy. It went down quite smooth and crisp. I'm sure it'd be quite fantastic on a hot day 100ft below sea level, but on a stormy Dec 29th it didn't quite hit the spot.
