From the brewer:
“Our first exploration of the sub-4% bitter. This beer is everything we want. Malty but light: hoppy but balanced: and just the right amount of yeast character.”

Copper colored and crystal clear. Minor starting head but it settles to the rim and leaves no lace.
Light smell of semidry malt.
Thinner than the typical British version but that’s to be expected for a session beer. The lower effervescence helps. The flavor is malty with a bit of iron flavor showing in the swallow. The hop is subtle but provides a bit balance. I do like the toasty nature of the flavor—pretty good for a session beer.
