Canned 2025/04/30
Pours a fizzy bubbly 1 finger head with very little retention, basically disappears almost instantly like it was soda, clear watery-pale colored
Nose a bit of doughy malt, typical American lager malt character, a little straw, maybe corn, not much else
Taste brings a bit more lager malt than the nose thankfully, a bit of doughy bread, straw, a bit more corn like, but again watery and thin like, a touch of herbal hops, light bitterness, no finish like it just disappears
Mouth is thin and watery, med to lower carb
Overall not sure what this was supposed to be. If they called it "light" lager then OK, but for an American lager this was super light with almost no character or body, like they forgot half of the mash. Yes it's "more crushable" style, but not what I expected in a "lager" and still could have had a lot more character even for a crushable beer

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 4/30/25 into the test glass
A - Clear yellow back drop allows full view of very gentle carbonation. An aggresive pour yields a thin white cap, that says hello and exits quickly.
S - Sweet grain, likely some corn involved as well.
T - A bit of lemongrass, white toast, and I dare say corn.
M - Very lite on the palate, with a neutral texture, semi sweet start, then a finish that has a pleasant dryness
O - A fine offering that screams lawnmower beer.
