12oz can. Stamp on bottom provides date of '07/21/23 (canning date).
Very cloudy deep gold colored body. Two fingers of white head, which reduces to a partial cap and ring. Leaves behind scattered patterns of lacing.
Aroma of earthy resin and pineapple hops.
Taste is citrus orange, pineapple, and pine resin. Lots of resin in the end and aftertaste. Higher bitterness level, but still has a sweet flavor.
Nectar-like mouth feel. High resin bite. Very good carbonation.
Has a wider range of flavors and sensations, from sweet to heavier resin bitterness. Hides the higher ABV% but still leaves a mark.

Had Chaos Monger poured from 12-oz. can, bottom stamped "PKGD 02/03/21," into nonic pint.
Pours amber with clarity and 2-finger very light-tan head, with excellent retention, leaving some splotchy lace. Mild aroma of caramel malt and stone fruits off the pour, with hop spice joining as warms. Begins with moderate carbonation, then some hop spice and stone fruit carrying over and through creamy mild caramel malt, and into huge hoppy biting finish.
A bit malty for a westy, but still very much a huge West Coast IPA.

Pours a beautiful clear copper color with a light tan head. Nose is heavy on the resiny pine and a nice tangerine citrus note as well.
The taste is led by the resiny pine, which provides a welcome bitterness (90 IBU’s!!!) and the tangerine delivers citrus flavors, and there’s a really nice caramalt flavor.
The mouthfeel is substantial and dry. If you like WCDIPA’s, this is your sweet spot. Check!

Pours a nice copper color with ample white foam. Bright citrus aroma. Taste is quite bitter, with notes of grapefruit and pine. A bit of DIPA sweetness and Martinez’s is also present. Overall nice and refreshing.

Pours a beautiful clear amber with a long lasting white cap. Aroma is bold, full of citrus, tropical fruit and a bit of pine. Flavor follows the nose, sweet in front and bitter in the finish. Feel is medium bodied and adequately carbonated. Over all a fine beer.

12oz can. 3 months old
This beer rules. So juicy and tropical but with a solid malt backing. And you should've seen my face when I was told this was 9.2% - I was under the impression it was a pale ale because of how well the alcohol is hidden. This is so much better a hoppy beer than any recent Surly products that it is downright embarrassing. Surly and co. should be ashamed
