Russia's largest "microbrewery" plunges into the world of fruit beers. The result - uninspiring. Comes in a green (Really? All the rest of their products come in clear) 33cl bottle engraved especially for the brewery. List of ingredients: malt, hops, water, tequila, natural flavoring (tequila and bitter lemon), acidic regulators and sugar. Yum! No freshness data.
Pours a crystal clear gold under a thin slightly off-white head that settles quickly to film. The nose is all sweet lemonade, while the mouth is light and prickly. The taste opens with lime and sugar, accompanied by a bit of malt and some grain pretending to be tequila. No hops anywhere to be found. I must admit that this was a refreshing drink, but I never would have guessed that it's beer...
