I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with ecru ring head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had bold french toast notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet caramel malt base with semi sweet chocolate and massive maple presence accented by boozy highlights. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
