a balanced pale ale here thats quite malty and familiar, exceedingly fresh tasting, like brand new to me, but also at the same time maybe the least remarkable of the beers i had from these guys, its samey, not in a bad way, but in the way of like, i have tasted this a million times before even though i never really have, no real wow factor. a light copper color to it, some patchy white head, a biscuity malt profile thats a tad sweet and has a baked warmth to it, fermented clean and pretty dry, professionally done for the most part, and the hops come with pine up front and more of a berry taste to finish, light lemon too, rather subtle, but i believe intentionally so, this isnt a particularly aggressive beer. the quality is there, especially on the fermentation side, and overall if you like a more traditional american pale, this one will deliver for you. this place is rad, out in the sticks a little bit but very cool and quite unique as well, great space, beers way ahead of the curve, even their weakest beers were better than some of the best i had at a couple of the other breweries i hit in town. they have a good thing going, brand new, check it out if you havent yet!
