a solid hazy here featuring the pink boots hop blend from this year, seems like participation was wider than ever in 2024, good for them, but also quite a bit of samey beer out there, i think a lot of breweries took a similar approach as this one did, a well dry hopped starchy hazy, on trend, flavorful, bright and fresh, but not really different or creative in any meaningful way. that said, this is tasty, and one of the better beers we had on this visit, so no complaints. looks great, murky yes but not super heavy, frothy almost inch of white head on top, uniform with no settling, and ample carbonation, aroma of mango and papaya and maybe apricot, a little more up front fruitiness of the tropical persuasion than i have picked up from this blend in other beers, less berry forward to me than some, but similarly juicy, modern, and terpene forward, lime and lemon verbena notes add freshness, and this tastes like it smells for the most part, factor in just a bit of bitterness and some slightly sweet grain in the middle, but its lively and fresh and kind of summery to me even with some density. they could have fermented this a touch drier i think it could be a little filling after a few, but i think they have gotten the most out of this mix of hops, definitely dry hop forward. pleasant and good, a fun beer menu in here this time!
