We use Mosaic hops to bring forth complex fruit notes, moderate bitterness, with just a hint of floral and herbal flavours. We here at Two Water want to bring you a taste of summer. Relax to the flavours of pineapple and berry in our salute to everyone's favorite season.

473 mL can from the brewpub; dated Jul 23 2021 and served slightly chilled. Brewed and canned in Kingston at Spearhead according to the side label.

Pours a clear, pale golden-yellow colour, producing an inch of fluffy, foamy, sparkling white head that erodes over the next several minutes. It leaves behind a webby coat of beautiful lacing, in addition to a tight collar and sudsy cap - looks awesome in the glass. Grainy pale malts on the nose, along with light honey biscuit sweetness, apples, silage and floral hops.

It's not bad - grainy pale malts are the main player, with hints of biscuity sweetness, sourdough and a noble-esque hop profile that starts to develop by mid-sip. The fruitiness of the Mosaic hops has largely faded, but the grassy/floral aspects have held up well enough; hints of apple and an earthy, herbal bitterness that quickly dissipates after the finish. Off-dry. Light in body, with average carbonation levels that give a decent bite to this brew's smooth mouthfeel, resulting in a crisp, refreshing glass. Drinks like a pils to be honest, and if I'd tried this blindfolded, there's no doubt I'd have guessed just that.

Final Grade: 3.4, a B-. The Parkway is a halfway decent blonde ale, but that's about it. This can was surprisingly old for something I bought basically last week - and I feel weird for even whining about this, because I swear I'm not usually fussy about drinking 'old' beer (at least if I'm not dealing with IPAs or dry-hopped stuff), and the beer itself wasn't objectively bad or anything like that. I just feel like ten months is way too long for a can to be sitting in a brewpub fridge.
