Darker amber color and clear. Double poured smaller head which retains a thin film on the surface. Good lacing in the form of large swathes on the glass.
Malty aroma with only a hint of floral hop.
Bitter flavor from the start. Neutral body and carbonation. The malt is dry and secondary. Given the color, I’m surprised there are no caramel flavors. The finish is black pepper bitterness with a long aftertaste.
