Very good German Pilsner with a crisp mouthfeel. Nice crackery / hoppy balance. Van Henion really dives into these German styles with a serious and skillful gusto.

Remember the name of the brewery but nothing else. Gave it a decent rating.

Look: Slightly cloudy yellow and my slow pour still brings on a nice, frothy head that settles to a lid and leaves good lacing behind
Aroma: Pilsner malt, floral hops, straw, and soda crackers
Taste: Some straw and soda crackers kick it off before a wave of floral goodness crashes in and takes over with notes of true jasmine, false spirea, and butterfly bush. Pilsner malt comes in to swing the balance back and through the close
Mouthfeel: Light but full, medium-high carbonation, clean throughout, and crisp on the finish
Overall: I dig it. Another good one from these folks and I’ll never complain about another locally made Pilsner to hit the scene so glad they took the leap. Typical German-style Pilsner notes abound and tasty and well-made to boot

Pint at Westside Taphouse in West Salem Oregon.
$6.00.
Pours a nice bright gold. Clear of course, with a small bubbly head.
Aroma honeyish malts and floral hop. Trad.
Taste similar to the aroma. Nice really.
Good "snappy" mouth feel.
A really nice pilsner done to style.
